Terms of Service

epPassword Mobile Application

Effective date: March 16, 2026

Welcome to epPassword. By downloading, installing, or using the epPassword mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The App is operated by EnrichPoint (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent) and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

epPassword is a password management and digital vault application that allows you to:

  • Securely store and manage passwords, Wi-Fi credentials, secure notes, documents, and medication details
  • Generate strong passwords with customizable complexity
  • Use biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) to unlock your vault
  • Generate TOTP (time-based one-time password) codes for two-factor authentication
  • Monitor your passwords against known data breaches
  • Analyze password health and receive security recommendations
  • Create a family plan and share passwords with family members
  • Create shared vaults with per-entry access control
  • Grant emergency access to trusted contacts
  • Back up and sync your encrypted vault across devices

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account by signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your master password and account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Remembering your master password — we cannot recover or reset it since we do not store it

Notify us immediately at support@enrichpoint.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Master Password

Your master password is the key to your encrypted vault. You are solely responsible for remembering your master password. Because we use a zero-knowledge architecture, we do not store your master password and cannot recover it for you. If you lose your master password, you will permanently lose access to your encrypted vault data. We strongly recommend storing your master password in a safe, offline location.

5. User Content and Data

You retain full ownership of all data you store in the App, including passwords, notes, documents, and other vault entries. By using the App, you grant EnrichPoint a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit, and process your encrypted data as necessary to operate the App and its features (including cloud backup and family sharing).

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you store and share through the App. You agree not to use the App to:

  • Store credentials obtained through unauthorized means
  • Share passwords or access to services in violation of those services' terms
  • Facilitate any unlawful activity
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App's encryption or security mechanisms

6. Family Plans and Sharing

The family plan feature allows you to invite up to 4 family members to share selected vault entries and create shared vaults. As the family plan creator, you are responsible for managing membership and shared access. All family members must agree to these Terms.

When you share a vault entry with family members, you are granting them access to the decrypted content of that entry. Share only information that you have the right to share, and only with people you trust.

7. Emergency Access

The emergency access feature allows you to designate trusted contacts who can request access to your vault under specific conditions. By configuring emergency access, you authorize the designated contacts to access the specified vault entries according to the conditions you set. You can revoke emergency access at any time.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

epPassword offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings
  • Pro benefits extend to all members of your family plan
  • Refunds are handled according to the respective app store's refund policy

If your Pro subscription expires, you will retain access to your existing vault data but may lose access to Pro-only features such as family sharing, cloud sync, breach monitoring, and emergency access.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please review it carefully.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including all software, design, text, graphics, and logos, is the property of EnrichPoint and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Apple Sign-In, Have I Been Pwned, and app store billing systems. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
  • Your data will never be lost or compromised (despite our best efforts at security)
  • Breach monitoring will detect every compromised credential
  • Password health scores guarantee security against all threats

epPassword is a tool to assist with password management. It is not a guarantee of absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining secure practices, including choosing a strong master password and keeping your devices secure.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EnrichPoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data due to forgotten master passwords, device failure, or service disruptions
  • Unauthorized access to your accounts resulting from compromised credentials stored in the App
  • Any damages resulting from third-party data breaches
  • Losses resulting from shared vault access or emergency access grants you configured

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EnrichPoint, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@enrichpoint.com. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the App ceases immediately
  • Your local vault data remains on your device unless you uninstall the App
  • Your cloud-stored data will be deleted within 30 days
  • Shared vault entries you created will be removed from family members' access

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
